Visit Greek city Kerkyra

Corfu (or Kerkyra) is the main city of the island. Kerkyra city has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2007, so we strongly recommend visiting this ancient corner of the island for every traveler.

It is remarkable that the local architecture will remind you of Italy. The sights presented on the island of Corfu (Greece) are of great cultural and historical significance for the whole country. Romans, Byzantines, Turks, Goths, Venetians, French and British fought for the right to own the island and you can see this government transition reflected in the local architecture and culture.

Old Fortress is one of the well-known hallmarks of the island

Let’s start with the Old Fortress, it was built by the Venetians in the middle of the 6th century, and over a long time it lost its previous appearance. Now Paleo Frurio has been renovated but not all buildings have survived to this day. The fortress is one of the well-known hallmarks of the island.

You need to go upstairs on foot and it can be physically difficult, so try to visit this place in the morning or ask us via chat and we will recommend, accompaign and guide you.

Most probably you’ve heard and read so many times about Mount Pantokrator but have never been there! So it’s time to go there – it’s located at 906 meters in north-eastern Corfu. This awesome spot offers splendid views of Albania, mainland Greece and even Italy on particularly clear days.

Visit Greece with Tamara and discover traditional old Greek villages with their nice alleyways, oil mills, beautiful squares, traditional coffee shops and impressive churches dating back to the 16th century.
