Water Church

St Nicholas Wondermaker On The Water Church is an absolutely fantastic church located on the mighty Dnieper River and accessed by a walkway from the Kyiv harbour area.
Built on a tiny man made island this church looks amazing,I never gained access but I was suitably impressed with this beautiful church to take some photos and stand back and just admire the sheer beauty of the church and its unique location on the Dnieper River, my twin brother Stephen and I had just had a very bracing walk along the Dnieper River promenade from Metro Bridge on a bitterly cold Wednesday morning, after visiting the church we found a cafe were we warmed up with a coffee.
A beautiful church, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area around the harbour and easy to locate along Naberezhno – Khreschatytska.
