Latest excavations at Regio V in Pompeii have revealed the fascinating Vicolo dei Balconi, a street lined with elegant homes—some even featuring balconies that have stood the test of time. Archaeologists uncovered incredible finds, including coins, thoroughbred horses adorned with bronze and iron accessories, and beautifully preserved frescoes and murals depicting mythological figures.

But Pompeii wasn’t just a city of luxury. Excavations have also unearthed evidence of brothels and gambling artifacts, proving that entertainment were just as much a part of daily life as grand villas and exquisite art.
