Ocean Restaurant

This nice restaurant is situated just next to the beach. The exquisite seafood dishes (especially the prawn, lobster and calamari) were prepared with style and flavour – finger licking delicious and reasonably priced. Desserts were also delicious, especially the lime mousse and cheesecake. Like many other restaurants in Zanzibar, the local food is always better than when they try cooking European food – go for local dishes!

We passed our evenings before meals were spent at the Beach Bar, where our friends thoroughly enjoyed Mojitos. The atmosphere and ambience at the Beach Bar is relaxed where,in the evening breeze one is laid back with feet in the cool sand, with lots of cushions everywhere and music. Light snacks are available at the beach bar. The staff are very pleasant and friendly.
We thoroughly recommend Ocean restaurant to anyone who is looking for good reasonably priced food and good selection of drinks.
