Lugeck

Lugeck is a relatively affordable choice when you want to try typical Austrian dishes with a creative twist. The place is close to Stephansplatz and the dramatic St.Stephens Cathedral.

Opened with the aim of reviving Viennese tavern culture Lugeck offers a broad menu that features classics such as Tafelspitz (beef or veal with potatoes) and Wiener Schnitzel. Meanwhile, seasonal menu items focus on fresh produce and local products, with dishes like Viennese soup pot with semolina dumplings; piroshkies (potato dumplings) with curd cheese, sour cream, and walnut butter; and steak tartare with avocado. Fresh fish also features prominently on the menu. 

Your lunch and dinner will be served with the restaurant’s homemade bread and include typical Viennese coffee at the end of the meal.
