Eiffel Bridge

The Eiffel Bridge is one of the most striking in Girona for its deep red color and so much metal, like a small Eiffel Tower lying down. The bridge was built by Gustave Eiffel’s company in 1876, and represented a breakthrough in terms of the unity and cohesion of the city as it connects directly the heart of the old city with the new city. Built just before the Eiffel tower in Paris, the bridge should actually have been placed in the home of French engineer.
